After breaking and dislocating my ankle in October 2023, I began rebuilding strength from the ground up—literally. I now run 2–3km every other day in barefoot sandals, often at sunset and sometimes in jean shorts. What started as recovery became a journey of connection, comfort, and doing things my own way.
